Reduced Social Security contributions from March to May 2020<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Contributions to be paid to Social Security will be reduced as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– from 5% to 4%\u00a0for the employers’ contribution<\/span>
\n– from 5% to 1% for the employees’ contribution<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3 months extension for March to June 2020 Social Security filings<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Companies will be granted a 3 months extension for the\u00a0filing\u00a0of Social Security contributions:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

– March filing and payment by July15th 2020
\n– April filing and payment by August15th 2020
\n– May filing and payment by September15th 2020<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Social Security will pay 50% of eligible employees’ salary (limit of 7,500 THB)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Employees not being paid their salary from March onwards as a direct impact of the Covid-19 outbreak can receive the support of\u00a0the Social Security under the following conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Employees from companies under one of the\u00a0*categories of activity ordered by\u00a0the government to cease their operations are eligible to receive 50% of their salary up to 60 days (in the limit of \u0e3f7,500\/month).<\/p>\n

*Categories:<\/u>\u00a0restaurants, shopping malls, fresh markets, beauty salons, tatoo shops, fun parks, gaming\u00a0& internet shops, golf courses, swimming pools, amulets markets, fair & convention halls, educational institutions, cosmetic surgery\u00a0clinics, spas & massages, pet shops, fitness, boxing & sport clubs.<\/em><\/span>\n<\/div>\n

– Employees from other companies directly impacted by the Covid-19\u00a0outbreak\u00a0can apply\u00a0to receive 50% of their salary up to 180\u00a0(in the limit of\u00a0\u0e3f7,500)<\/span><\/div>\n

The Social Security supports individuals becoming unemployed<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h5>\n

\"\"<\/h1>\n

– Individuals\u00a0who resigned from their job after March 1st 2020 will be eligible to receive up to 45% of their salary from the Social Security for up to 90 days\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(in the limit of\u00a0\u0e3f7,500)<\/span><\/p>\n

– Individuals whose employment has been terminated\u00a0after March 1st 2020 will be eligible to receive up to 70% of their salary from the Social Security for up to 200\u00a0days\u00a0<\/span><\/span>(in the limit of\u00a0\u0e3f7,500)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
