{"id":1963,"date":"2022-06-15T11:58:20","date_gmt":"2022-06-15T04:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.plizz.co\/?p=971"},"modified":"2022-06-15T11:58:20","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T04:58:20","slug":"foreigners-arriving-by-air-will-no-longer-need-to-fill-up-tor-mor-6-form","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plizz.co\/th\/blog\/foreigners-arriving-by-air-will-no-longer-need-to-fill-up-tor-mor-6-form\/","title":{"rendered":"Foreigners arriving by air will no longer need to fill up Tor Mor 6 form"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>June 15, 2022<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.nationthailand.com\/uploads\/images\/md\/2022\/06\/zq48mHVtNHhKQeJbMA19.webp?x-image-process=style\/lg\" alt=\"Foreigners arriving by air will no longer need to fill up Tor Mor 6 form\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Cabinet on Tuesday approved in principle a move to temporarily do away with an immigration form for non-Thai nationals entering or leaving the Kingdom by air, also known as the Tor Mor 6 form, in a bid to help reduce congestion at airport immigration counters.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputy government spokesperson Traisuree Traisoranakul said the measure would be implemented for a specific time, after which there would be an evaluation to consider whether to permanently cancel Tor Mor 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She said the move to temporarily scrap the immigration form for foreigners would help facilitate passenger flow at airport immigration counters as the number of foreign arrivals had increased significantly and being required to file the Tor Mor 6 form along with Covid-19 screening has resulted in bottlenecks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe move will also help promote a positive image of Thai airports to a global audience,\u201d Traisuree said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFurthermore, Thailand is in the process of fully reopening the country to foreign visitors and recovering its economy from the impact of Covid-19.
