Today, Thailand is already home to multinational corporations from all over the world and one of the most important tourist destinations in Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thailand presents itself as a very attractive location for \u201cwork from anywhere\u201d professionals. This new visa program is expected to attract new foreign residents, technologies and talents contributing to domestic spending and investment while supporting economic growth. The Thai government has set the target of attracting one million wealthy or talented foreign residents into the country over the next five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHAT PRIVILEGES WILL BE OFFERED TO LTR VISA HOLDERS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>10* years renewable visa Permission will be granted to stay in Thailand the first time for five years which can be extended for 5 more years if qualifications are met.Exemption from 4 Thais to 1 foreigner employment requirement ratioFast Track Service at International Airports in Thailand90-day report extended to 1-year report and exemption of re-entry permitPermission to work in Thailand (Digital Work permit)17% Personal income tax for Highly-skilled professionals<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TYPES OF LTR VISA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>LTR visas will be offered to four categories of foreigners: Wealthy Global Citizens, Wealthy Pensioners, Work-from-Thailand Professionals, and Highly-Skilled Professionals. Spouses and dependents of LTR visa holders will also qualify for the same visas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ltr.boi.go.th\/index.html?fbclid=IwAR0DuTwihi2bvsp3Fchb9nIq1O2z4uVAZBNH4i0rhfG14I1bqE4TOrJWXAk#tabsNavigationSimpleIcons1\">Wealthy<br>Global Citizens<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ltr.boi.go.th\/index.html?fbclid=IwAR0DuTwihi2bvsp3Fchb9nIq1O2z4uVAZBNH4i0rhfG14I1bqE4TOrJWXAk#tabsNavigationSimpleIcons2\">Wealthy<br>Pensioners<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ltr.boi.go.th\/index.html?fbclid=IwAR0DuTwihi2bvsp3Fchb9nIq1O2z4uVAZBNH4i0rhfG14I1bqE4TOrJWXAk#tabsNavigationSimpleIcons3\">Work-from-Thailand<br>Professionals<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ltr.boi.go.th\/index.html?fbclid=IwAR0DuTwihi2bvsp3Fchb9nIq1O2z4uVAZBNH4i0rhfG14I1bqE4TOrJWXAk#tabsNavigationSimpleIcons4\">Highly-Skilled<br>Professionals<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ltr.boi.go.th\/index.html?fbclid=IwAR0DuTwihi2bvsp3Fchb9nIq1O2z4uVAZBNH4i0rhfG14I1bqE4TOrJWXAk#tabsNavigationSimpleIcons5\">Spouses<br>and dependents<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WEALTHY INDIVIDUALS HOLDING AT LEAST USD 1 MILLION IN ASSETS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>At least USD 1 million in assets<\/li><li>Personal income of a minimum of USD 80,000\/ year in the past two years<\/li><li>Investment of at least USD 500,000 in Thai government bonds, foreign direct investment, or Thai property<\/li><li>Health insurance with at least USD 50,000 coverage or social security benefits insuring treatment in Thailand or at least USD 100,000 deposit<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPLICATION PROCESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Visa Application and Issuance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Application Submission<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Register and submit online an application for qualification endorsement for LTR Visa and supporting documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Qualifications Endorsement<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Within 20 working days after having received complete documents, applicants will be notified of the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Visa Issuance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualified applicants may proceed with applying for LTR Visa issuance at the Royal Thai Embassies\/the Royal Thai Consulate Generals overseas or Immigration offices in Thailand within 60 days from the issuance date of the endorsement letter. The processing fee for the 10-year visa with multiple entry is 50,000 Baht per person in case of collecting LTR Visa in Thailand. In the case of collecting LTR Visa at the Royal Thai Embassies\/the Royal Thai Consulate Generals overseas or E-visa, fee may vary depending on the currency exchange rate of each country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Digital Work Permit Issuance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants who work in Thailand, may collect digital work permits at the Department of Employment at One Stop Service Center for Visa and Work Permit, Chamchuri Square Building, Bangkok or provincial labour offices.
