What You Get

What PR status means for you

  • Permanent residence, no renewals

Once granted, PR does not expire. No yearly visa extensions and no visa runs, as long as you keep your re-entry permits and reporting in order.

  • Simpler work permits

You still need a work permit to work, but it no longer depends on a yearly visa extension, so changing jobs is far simpler.

  • The blue book

Your Residence Certificate (the blue book) is official proof of your status, and it lets you be registered in a Thai house registration, which makes banking and dealing with government offices easier.

  • A path to Thai citizenship

PR is the starting point for Thai naturalization. Getting PR now opens the door to a Thai passport later.

How It Works

Our Process

A clear, structured approach from start to finish.

  1. Step 1:Eligibility and timeline

6–12 months before the expected filing window, we check your 3 or more consecutive years of non-immigrant extensions, your tax history, your points score, and your Thai language readiness.

  2. Step 2:Documents

We gather and translate employment letters, 2–3 years of tax returns, bank statements, police clearances from every country you have lived in, and your professional qualifications.

  3. Step 3:Application

We submit your complete application to the Immigration Bureau during the official quota window (usually between October and December), timed so your file is in before the places run out.

  4. Step 4:Investigation and interview

We follow the investigation, answer Immigration Bureau requests, and prepare you for the Thai language and procedural interview with mock interviews.

  5. Step 5:Blue book and next steps

After approval, we follow the Royal Gazette publication, the blue book (Residence Certificate), your house registration (tabien baan), and your new work permit, and advise on timing if you plan to apply for citizenship.

Plizz vs the alternatives

PR is a long process that rewards preparation

A gap in your documents found a month before the filing window closes usually cannot be fixed in time. What separates the approaches is who finds the gaps, and how early.

Who this is for

Who should apply for Thai PR?

PR eligibility takes 3 years to build, and processing is long. The earlier you plan, the stronger your file will be when the filing window opens.

  • Non-B work visa holders with 3 or more consecutive yearly extensions who want to stop renewing a visa every year
  • Foreign spouses of Thai citizens with 3 or more years of marriage-based Non-O extensions, who can use the lower THB 30,000/month income threshold of the Thai-married route
  • Business owners with significant investments in Thailand who want a permanent status that makes banking, leases, and long-term planning simpler
  • Expats planning to become Thai citizens: PR is the legal starting point for naturalization under the Nationality Act B.E. 2508
  • LTR visa holders several years into their stay who want to plan PR as a step toward citizenship

About our team

One team from first assessment to blue book

PR is a long process. We start planning 6–12 months before the filing window, follow the investigation, prepare you for the interview, and stay with you until the blue book is issued: one point of contact throughout.

Thai language preparation included

Failing the basic Thai conversation test at the PR interview is the most common reason for delay. Our preparation includes mock interviews, basic reading and writing practice, and, if needed, a study plan that starts months before your filing window.

Filing-window planning built in

Each nationality has 100 PR places a year. The filing window usually opens between October and December, but the dates change every year. We watch for it and have your file ready before the quota fills, because missing it costs you a full year.

Tax and immigration records aligned

A continuous record of Thai personal income tax (PND 91 returns) is a PR requirement. If your Revenue Department record has gaps, we fix them through our Tax Advisory team before you file, so a strong application is not rejected on a technicality.
