What You Get

The fastest legal route to work in Thailand for BOI companies

  • One-stop processing

The OSSC handles the visa and work permit in one place, instead of two separate filings on the standard route.

  • Longer permission to stay

The first permission usually runs for 1 year (up to 2 years for executive and expert positions), and extensions can follow the approved period of your BOI position.

  • Work permit in the same filing

Executives and experts receive their work permit through the OSSC, with no separate application to the Department of Employment (DOE).

  • No 4:1 ratio or capital test

For approved positions, BOI-promoted companies are exempt from the usual THB 2 million paid-up capital and 4 Thai employees per foreigner rules.

  • Visas for your family

Your spouse and children can obtain dependent visas (Non-Immigrant O) through the OSSC, extended on the same cycle as yours.

How It Works

Our Process

A clear, structured approach from start to finish.

  1. Step 1:Confirm BOI status and eligibility

We check the promotion certificate, confirm the position is within the approved project, and decide whether you apply as an investor, executive, or expert.

  2. Step 2:Prepare and translate the file

The full OSSC file: notarized company documents, BOI promotion certificate, qualifications, investment documents, and Thai translations.

  3. Step 3:Submit to the OSSC

We file with the OSSC and follow up during processing, answering any request the same day where possible.

  4. Step 4:Visa, work permit, and ongoing compliance

Once approved, Immigration issues the IB visa and the digital work permit together. We then set up 90-day reporting (form TM.47) and handle annual extensions.

Not all BOI visa support is the same

The OSSC is strict about documents: incomplete applications are put on hold, not sent back with comments. What matters is knowing the format before you submit.

Who this is for

Who needs a Non-Immigrant IB visa?

The Non-IB visa is only for executives, investors, and experts linked to BOI promotion. It is not a choice: it follows your company's BOI status.

  • Foreign executives in management roles at BOI-promoted companies: directors, regional presidents, heads of finance
  • Foreign investors placing THB 10 million or more in qualifying Thai assets (condominium, government bonds, fixed deposits) who want an investor visa
  • Technical specialists and engineers needed to deliver a BOI-promoted project, in positions approved by the BOI
  • Multinationals opening a BOI-promoted regional headquarters or factory that need to move senior staff to Thailand quickly
  • Founders of BOI-promoted Thai subsidiaries who need senior foreign hires in place before they have 4 Thai employees per foreigner

About our team

Visa and work permit in one filing

The OSSC issues the visa and digital work permit together, instead of two separate filings through the standard route. That matters when you are starting a new Thai operation.

No 4:1 ratio or THB 2 million capital test

For BOI-approved positions, both the Thai employee ratio and the paid-up capital rule are waived, so you can bring in senior foreign staff before your Thai team has grown.

Investment set up right for the THB 10 million route

For investor applicants, we coordinate the documents for each eligible asset (condominium, government bonds, fixed deposits), so the investment meets OSSC requirements and fits your financial plans.

BOI promotion and visas in one plan

We handle your BOI promotion and IB visas as one engagement, so visas are ready when the project needs your people.
