Your team wants payslips on the 5th, your finance lead wants PND 1 filed on time, and your employees want a correct 50 Tawi certificate every February. Plizz handles all three, with a second reviewer checking every cycle.

How It Works

Our Process

A clear, structured approach from start to finish.

  1. Step 1:Setup and employee data

We collect employment contracts, salary structures, and Social Security Office (SSO) details, and set up your payroll before the first run.

  2. Step 2:Monthly data

You send attendance, overtime, and any changes at least 3 days before pay day. We do the rest.

  3. Step 3:Payroll run

We calculate wages, PIT, social security, and deductions, then send you a summary to approve.

  4. Step 4:Filing and payment

We file PND 1 and social security on schedule and deliver the bank file for payment.

  5. Step 5:Year-end filing

We file the annual PND 1 Kor and issue a 50 Tawi withholding certificate to each employee by the end of February.

Regulatory update: 1 October 2026

Employee Welfare Fund: mandatory for companies with 10+ employees

From 1 October 2026, the Employee Welfare Fund requires companies with 10 or more employees that do not run a registered provident fund to register and pay 0.25% of wages from each side (employer and employee), under the Labor Protection Act. Contributions are then due every month, and late payment carries a surcharge that builds up each month.

The fund is separate from social security (Social Security Act B.E. 2533), which covers medical, disability, and maternity benefits. The Employee Welfare Fund builds savings that employees receive when they leave the company. That means two registrations with two different authorities. Plizz handles registration and monthly filing for both as part of the standard payroll service, at no extra fee.

How one PND 1 error reaches every employee

A wrong PND 1 filing today sets off a predictable chain:

  1. 1

The monthly PND 1 is filed with a calculation error: too much or too little tax withheld.

  2. 2

The annual PND 1 Kor, due by the end of February, carries the same error: the employer files a wrong annual summary with the Revenue Department.

  3. 3

Each employee receives a wrong 50 Tawi, the certificate they use to file their personal PND 91 (ภ.ง.ด.91) return by 31 March.

  4. 4

Months later, employees receive Revenue Department notices about the difference. They trace it back to their employer, and trust in payroll, one of the most personal parts of employment, takes a hit.

Under the Revenue Code, the employer is responsible for withholding the right amount. The employee's problem later in the year starts as the employer's liability in February.

Who this is for

Who needs monthly payroll processing?

Monthly payroll processing suits companies that value correct filings and a firm that answers for deadlines more than the small saving of a freelance bookkeeper.

  • Foreign founder of a new Thai limited company (1–5 employees)

The company must register with the SSO within 30 days of hiring its first employee (Social Security Act B.E. 2533). The first PND 1 filing falls in the same window. Many foreign founders learn about this deadline only after it has passed.

  • Subsidiary of a foreign group (20–100 employees) reporting to head office

Head office wants a clean payroll journal entry by the 5th and a headcount report by the 10th. Freelance bookkeepers rarely provide these. Plizz can close payroll by the 5th and send reports in your group format by the 10th.

  • Service firm (10–30 employees) with Thai and foreign staff on one payroll

Foreign employees are registered with the SSO on paper, not online. Their packages often include housing, school fees, and home-leave flights, which must be treated correctly for PIT. That means two compliance tracks in every cycle.

  • BOI-promoted company (50+ employees) with foreign experts

Visa and work permit renewals for foreign staff rely on payroll records that match the approved positions and declared salaries. Clean, consistent payroll makes each renewal simpler and supports the company in any Board of Investment (BOI) review.

  • Restaurant or hospitality group (50+ employees) with hourly and monthly staff

Variable hours, overtime at 1.5 or 3 times the hourly rate, public-holiday pay under the Labor Protection Act (LPA), and high staff turnover create dozens of special cases every month. One overtime error repeated across the company can lead to back-pay claims from every affected employee.

  • Company preparing a fundraise or audit (any size)

In due diligence, investors typically ask for two years or more of payroll records, withholding reconciliations, and SSO contribution history. Records that are not in order delay the deal, or end it.

About our team

A firm behind every filing, not a single bookkeeper

Your payroll is prepared by one team member and checked by another, inside a Federation of Accounting Professions (FAP) member firm overseen by its founders, Benoît Meneau and Jérôme Le Louer, both former CFOs. When someone is on leave or moves on, your payroll still runs on time.

PIT withholding calculated the Thai way

Thai PIT withholding is based on each employee's projected income for the whole year (Revenue Code Section 50), recalculated when pay changes, not on one month's salary in isolation. Software without Thai settings often withholds too much early in the year and too little later. Plizz recalculates every month, so 50 Tawi certificates match and employees file their annual PND 91 return without surprises.

2025 and 2026 changes already applied

The higher social security wage cap of THB 17,500 (from January 2026) and the Employee Welfare Fund (from 1 October 2026) are built into the standard service. Plizz tracks rule changes for all clients and sends a written briefing before each change takes effect. As a DFK International member firm, Plizz also works to a known standard for groups with payroll in several countries.

Five-day filing buffer and clear accountability

Plizz schedules every filing 5 days before the legal deadline. If Plizz misses a deadline, Plizz pays the penalty, not you. Late filings are rare and usually come from data arriving late or government systems being down; we document each case.

Payroll and bookkeeping in one place

Payroll journal entries (wages payable, PIT withheld, social security payable, and the severance provision) post to the general ledger with the right account codes before the monthly close. When Plizz runs both, there is nothing to reconcile between two providers, which typically saves 3 to 5 hours a month.
